Abstract
The aim of this study
is to determine the contribution of video assisted violin lessons given on
Youtube to violin education. In this study, the study group consists of 25 students.
The ages of these students are between 10 and 11 years. None of the students in
this study group received violin training. In the first week, the students were
given lessons on violin education. Beginning from the second week, the violin
lessons which were published on youtube were shown to the students for 11
weeks. In addition to the videos on youtube, students were given performance
tasks for their individual work. These studies were followed under control.
Survey and observation forms were applied to the students after 12 weeks of
individual performance tasks and video lessons. The questionnaire consists of
17 questions. Questionnaires were filled out by the students. As a result of
the research, it can be said that Youtube videos watched by the students
contributed positively to the violin education of the students. It was also
concluded that Youtube videos provide visual and auditory support for violin
education to students. The psycho-motor processes of violin education also
think that video lessons are not sufficient for violin education and should be
supported with individual lessons.

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı,
Youtube üzerinden verilen video destekli keman derslerinin keman eğitimine olan
katkısını saptamaktır. Bu çalışma kapsamında, çalışma grubunu 25 öğrenci
oluşturmaktadır. Bu öğrencilerin yaşları 10 ile 11 yaş arasındadır. Bu çalışma
grubundaki öğrencilerin hiç biri keman eğitimi almamıştır. Öğrencilerle ilk
hafta keman eğitimine yönelik dersler verilmiştir. İkinci haftadan itibaren
Youtube üzerinden yayınlanan keman dersleri 11 hafta boyunca öğrencilere
izletilmiştir. Öğrencilere Youtube üzerindeki videolara ek olarak bireysel
çalışmalarına yönelik performans görevleri verilmiştir. Bu çalışmalar kontrol
altında takip edilmiştir. Öğrencilere 12 hafta süren bireysel performans
görevleri ve video dersleri sonunda anket ve gözlem formları uygulanmıştır.
Anket soruları 17 adet sorudan oluşmaktadır. Anket soruları öğrenciler
tarafından doldurulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, Öğrenciler tarafından izlenen
Youtube videolarının öğrencilerin keman eğitimine olumlu katkısı olduğu
söylenebilir. Ayrıca öğrenciler Youtube videoların hatırlamada kolaylık
sağladığını bildirmişlerdir. Youtube videolarının öğrencilere keman eğitimine
yönelik görsel ve işitsel olarak destek verdiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Keman
eğitimi psiko-motor süreçleri kapsadığından, video derslerin keman eğitimi için
yeterli olmadığı ve bireysel dersler ile desteklenmesi gerektiği
düşüncesindedir.
