Eko-inovasyon Farkındalığının Web of Science Veri Tabanına Dayalı Bibliyometrik Analizi

Year 2024, , 89 - 111, 29.02.2024
https://doi.org/10.25229/beta.1357347

Abstract

Bu amaçla Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanı kullanılarak 1996-2022 döneminde yayımlanan 1622 makale incelenmiştir. Eko-inovasyon konusundaki akademik çalışmaların 2010’lu yıllarda gündemde yer bulmaya başladığı, 2015 yılından itibaren uluslararası anlaşmaların etkisi ile ivme kazandığı görülmüştür. Çok sayıda araştırma alanına yayılan çalışmaların büyük oranda Avrupa adresli olduğu ve etki faktörü yüksek dergilerin ön planda olmasının konunun önemine işaret ettiği sonuçlarına varılmıştır.

Bibliometric Analysis of Eco-innovation Awareness Based on Web of Science Database

Year 2024, , 89 - 111, 29.02.2024
https://doi.org/10.25229/beta.1357347

Abstract

Particularly in the last quarter century, it is seen that intense efforts have been made for a global cooperation on the limitation of climate change. Green growth, which has become the common route of international organizations, can only be achieved with eco-innovation. The advancements in eco-innovation in production, marketing and consumption aim to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and prevent a rise in global average temperature. The aim of this study is to reveal the development of awareness on the eco-innovation and its spread to countries and research areas by making a bibliometric analysis of academic articles dealing with the subject of eco-innovation. For this purpose, 1622 articles published between 1996-2022 were analyzed using the Web of Science (WoS) database. It has been observed that academic studies on eco-innovation have gained momentum with the effect of international agreements since 2015, when they began to be on the agenda in the 2010s. It has been concluded that the studies spanning many research areas are mostly European and the fact that journals with high impact factor are at the forefront indicates the importance of the subject.
