Morphological and Palynological properties of Endemic Haplophyllum myrtifolium Boiss. (Rutaceae)

Year 2017, Volume: 1 Issue: 2, 155 - 159, 30.11.2017

Abstract

The Haplophyllum genus is represented by 17 taxa in Turkey. Haplophyllum myrtifolium Boiss. which
is investigated in this study is endemic to Turkey. In this study, H. myrtifolium was investigated
morphologically and palynological. Some different morphological characteristics
determined from its description given in the Flora of Turkey for the species.
Pollen monad, isopolar, radially symmetrical, prolate rhomboidal in equator
view, outer triangular, sides of triangle straight or concave, 44 x 35 μm,
tricolporate. As a result of the this study, its description given in the Flora
of Turkey for H. myrtifolium
was expanded. Pollen morphology of this species was determined and polen
description was written.

Year 2017, Volume: 1 Issue: 2, 155 - 159, 30.11.2017

Abstract

Haplophyllum cinsi Türkiye’de 17 takson ile temsil edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada incelenen
Haplophyllum myrtifolium Boiss. Türkiye için endemiktir. Bu çalışmada H. myrtifolium morfolojik ve
palinolojik olarak incelenmiştir. Türkiye florasında türün deskripsiyonunda verilen bazı farklı morfolojik
karakterler tanımlanmıştır. Polen taneleri monad, izopolar, radyal simetrik, ekvatoryal görünüşte prolat
rombodial, dış kısmı üçgensi, üçgenin kenarları düz veya konkav, 44 x 35 μm, trikolporat. Bu çalışma
sonucunda H. myrtifolium’un Türkiye Florası’ndaki betimi genişletilmiştir. Polen morfolojisi belirlenmiş ve
polen betimi yazılmıştır
