Abstract

Abstract

Taxidermy is one of the most frequently used methods for preserving vertebrate samples. Archived scientific materials with the taxidermy method can be used in systematic, genetic and paleontological studies to be carried out later. With this study, a new method has been developed instead of known taxidermy methods. Since this developed method does not contain odor in liquid or vapor form, it is more harmless and cost-less to use in museums, student laboratories and as exhibition material. With this newly developed method, fish embalming samples which damaged by moths also can be repaired.
