Is Erosion a Threat to Beekeeping? A Case of Bingöl Province

Öz

Toprak, bitki ve su ilişkileri ekosistemde birçok döngüde önemli bir role sahiptir. Bu bileşenlerden herhangi birinde meydana gelecek olumsuzluk tüm canlıların dolaylı ya da doğrudan etkilenmesine neden olmaktadır. Toprak tarımsal üretimin en önemli bileşenlerindendir. Toprak kaynaklarında meydana gelen sorunlar hayvansal üretimi dolaysıyla arıcılık faaliyetlerini olumsuz etkileyebilmektedir. Günümüzde en önemli toprak sorunu şüphesiz erozyondur. Erozyon Ülkemizde etkileri ciddi oranda hissedilen bir çevre sorunudur. Bingöl yıllık 9.03 ton/ha toprak kaybı ile Türkiye ortalamasının üzerindedir. Zengin mineral içerine sahip üst toprak katmanının erozyonla yok olması, bu toprak katmanın ev sahipliği yaptığı bitki örtüsünün de yok olmasına neden olmaktadır. Sonuçta zengin bitki örtüsüne sahip orman ve mera alanları yerine çıplak kayalıklar ortaya çıkacaktır. Bu da orta ve uzun vadede arıcılık için ciddi bir tehdit olarak görülmektedir.
