Palyatif Hemşirelerin Basınç Yarası Önleme Bilgi Düzeyleri ile Tutumları Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract

Palyatif bakım hastaları basınç yarası gelişimi açısından risk altındaki hasta grubunda yer almaktadır. Palyatif servislerde çalışan hemşirelerin basınç yaralarını önlemeye yönelik bilgi düzeyleri ile tutumları bu problemi engellemek için önemlidir. Kesitsel, tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı tipteki bu araştırma palyatif bakım hemşirelerinin basınç yaralarını önlemeye yönelik bilgi düzeyleri ile tutumları arasındaki ilişkiyi saptamak amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Batı Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde yer alan 3 devlet hastanesinin palyatif bakım servislerinde çalışan n=31 hemşire araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturdu. Araştırmada hemşire bilgi formu, Basınç ülserlerini önlemeye yönelik tutum ölçeği, Basınç yarası önleme bilgi değerlendirme ölçeği kullanıldı. Veriler yüzde, bağımsız örneklem t-testi, tek yönlü varyans ve korelasyon testleri kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Araştırmada hemşirelerin yaş ortalamalarının 30,26±5,34 yıl ve tümünün kadın olduğu, %35,5’i daha önce kurumunda basınç yarası eğitimi aldığı görüldü. Basınç yarası eğitimi alanların sınıflama ve gözlem bilgi düzeylerinin anlamlı derecede yüksek olduğu saptandı. Hemşirelerin palyatif serviste çalıştıkları yıl ile bilgi düzeyleri arasında fark bulunmadı, ancak çalıştıkları yıl arttıkça basınç yaralanmasına karşı tutum puanları anlamlı olarak azaldığı belirlendi. Basınç yarası önleme konusunda hemşirelerin bilgi düzeyleri ile tutumları arasında pozitif yönlü ilişki olduğu görüldü. Araştırmada, hemşirelerin basınç yaralanması bilgi düzeylerinin düşük olduğu belirlendi. Bu nedenle, basınç yaralarını önleme konusunda hizmet içi eğitimlerin arttırılması ve hemşirelerin katılımının teşvik edilmesi önerilmektedir.
