Bingol University Health Journal sends the articles it publishes to electronic archives on the basis of open access without requiring any action from the author(s) and makes them fully accessible. The author or the funding organization may upload a copy of the author's accepted article to archive sites.
The Bingol University Health Journal author license permits reuse of the article for non-commercial use only by citing the source (with a full citation).
Bingol University Health Journal undertakes to keep all its articles open access under the CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and to store the full-text content on archive platforms and on its own website.
1) Articles published in Bingol University Health Journal are digitally archived in LOCKSS. In addition, published articles can be made accessible by the author in the institutional archive of the university where they work (DSpace, AVESİS etc.), in thematic archives or in any other archive without an embargo period. Thus, everyone can immediately access this publication free of charge.
2) Bingol University Health Journal allows authors to use the final published version of an article for self-archiving (author’s personal website, social media accounts) and/or archiving in an institutional repository (DSpace, AVESİS, etc.) after publication.

3) Authors can self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based repositories. There is no embargo period, but the published source must be stated and a link to the journal homepage or the articles’ DOI must be set.

4) Authors and readers can download the PDF file of the article.

5) Bingol University Health Journal uses the LOCKSS system to allow for the creation of permanent archives. Based at Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS program provides award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to provide libraries and publishers with access to permanent and authorized digital content. The LOCKSS program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of “securing many copies.” The LOCKSS program develops and supports libraries using open-source end-to-end digital preservation software.
