Evaluation Principles
1) Articles that have not been previously published or are not currently under review for publication in another journal, and which have been approved by each author, will be accepted for evaluation.
2) Submitted articles that pass the preliminary check are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin software.
3) Our journal employs a double-blind peer review process. All submissions are first assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Articles deemed suitable are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers to evaluate the scientific quality of the article.
4) Editors evaluate articles independently of the authors' ethnic origin, gender, nationality, religious beliefs, and political philosophy. They ensure that articles submitted for publication undergo a fair double-blind peer review process.
5) The chief editor does not permit conflicts of interest between authors, editors, and reviewers.
6) The editorial board is responsible for the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of articles. The editorial board's decision is final.
7) Editors do not participate in decisions regarding articles written by themselves, their family members, or colleagues, or articles related to products or services in which the editor has an interest. Any such submission is subject to all of the journal's normal procedures.
Preliminary Review and Plagiarism Screening
The work is reviewed by the editor for compliance with the journal's publication principles, academic writing rules, and the ISNAD Citation System, and is screened for plagiarism using the Turnitin programme. The plagiarism similarity rate must be less than 20%.
Field Editor Review
Manuscripts that pass the Preliminary Review and Plagiarism Scan stage are reviewed by the relevant field editor for problematic content and academic language and style.
Refereeing Process (Academic Evaluation)
The work that passes the field editor's review is submitted for evaluation to at least two referees who have a doctoral thesis, book, or article related to the subject. The refereeing process is conducted confidentially within the framework of double-blind refereeing. The referee is requested to either indicate their opinion and views on the reviewed work in the text or justify them with an explanation of at least 150 words on the online referee form. The author is given the right to object and defend their views if they disagree with the referee's opinions. The field editor facilitates mutual communication between the author and the referee, maintaining confidentiality. If both referee reports are positive, the work is submitted to the Editorial Board with a recommendation for publication. If one of the two referees expresses a negative opinion, the work is sent to a third referee. Works can be published with the positive decision of at least two referees. Translated articles are sent to language and subject matter experts for evaluation in terms of accuracy to the original, appropriate use of subject matter concepts, and language. Translations that receive negative opinions from experts are not published. Decisions on the publication of book and symposium reviews and doctoral thesis abstracts are made based on the evaluation of the relevant field editors. Revision Stage: If the referees request revisions to the text they have reviewed, the relevant reports are sent to the author and they are asked to revise their work. Revisions are requested to be completed within a maximum of 10 days. The author submits the revisions, marked in red, to the field editor.
Field Editor Check
The field editor checks whether the author has made the requested corrections to the text.
Reviewer Check
The reviewer requesting corrections checks whether the author has made the requested corrections to the text.
Preparation of Detailed Abstract and Summary
Authors of papers that have been deemed ‘publishable’ by both reviewers are asked to expand the abstract section of their articles to 600-750 words.
Language Review
Papers that have passed the referee process are reviewed by Language Editors and, if necessary, corrections are requested from the author.
Publication Board Review
Articles that have undergone technical, academic, and linguistic reviews are examined by the Publication Board, and a final decision on publication is made. If any members raise objections, the Board decides by majority vote.
Typesetting and Layout Stage
The typesetting and layout of works approved for publication by the Publication Board are completed to prepare them for publication.
NOTE: Article submissions made to our journal boards are sent to at least two independent external reviewers under the double-blind peer review principle. During this process, the editorial roles of the relevant editors are suspended. In this way, the double-blind peer review process is fully preserved.
