Bozok Journal of Science (Bozok J Sci) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Yozgat Bozok University. The journal is published electronically twice a year, in May and November. The official abbreviation of the journal is Bozok J Sci.

Bozok Journal of Science has been publishing scientific research since 2023. The journal accepts manuscripts prepared exclusively in English. Submitted manuscripts must be original, must not have been previously published, accepted for publication, or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The authors bear full responsibility for the content of manuscripts submitted to and published in the journal. The copyright of all published articles belongs to Bozok Journal of Science. No publication, processing, or remuneration fee is paid or charged for articles published in the journal.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to ensure compliance with the journal's Author Guidelines and Publication Policies. Therefore, authors are expected to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with these requirements before submission.

Following submission, manuscripts are first subjected to a technical evaluation regarding their format, structure, and compliance with the journal's submission guidelines. Manuscripts that successfully pass the technical screening are forwarded by the Editor-in-Chief to the Editorial Board and/or the appropriate Section Editors.

After an editorial assessment, manuscripts considered suitable for publication are assigned to at least two independent reviewers, and the peer-review process is initiated. Bozok Journal of Science follows a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. The average peer-review period is 2–5 weeks.

Based on the recommendations of the reviewers and Section Editors, the Editorial Office may decide to accept the manuscript for publication, request revisions and/or additional information, or reject the manuscript. The final decision regarding the publication of all submitted manuscripts rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
