Aim & Scope

The aim of the Journal of Regional Development is to encourage scientific studies in the field of regional development, and to increase the number and quality of research in this field by sharing national and international experiences and different approaches. It is expected that the journal will make policy design processes more effective by creating a bridge between the academy and the public; it is aimed to disseminate theoretical research and original applied studies in the field of regional development, closely follow the global agenda, increase cooperation and information sharing, and initiate a dynamic sharing process.

The journal has a comprehensive and broad perspective appropriate to the multidisciplinary structure of regional development. In general, the journal focuses on disciplines that discuss the economic, social, spatial and environmental dynamics of regional development, and includes scientific studies that are directly related to the subject of regional development, in accordance with scientific ethics, free from ideological concerns and rich in literature in the basic subject areas of urban and regional planning; economics; social policy and politics and management.
