Indeed, snce the outbreak of the Russa-Ukrane conflct Ankara has been pursung a notceably restrant, well-balanced equdstance polcy towards the protagonsts wthout takng part n the western sanctons but at the same tme keepng up ts relatons wth ts western partners closely. Havng rd tself of almost all ts Mddle-Eastern entanglements, whch have cost the country an arm and a leg over the last decade or so, Turkey now stan- ds to beneft from the opportuntes accrung from a multpolar world order, somethng t has become an unstoppable realty, however much the US and the Collectve West are stll tryng to prevent t, but to no aval.
