Abstract

Süt; dayanıklılık egzersizleri sonrası alternatif toparlanma içeceği olma yolunda büyük ümit içeren bir içecek olarak görülmektedir. Sınırlı sayıda araştırma sonuçları, sütün performansı geliştirme ve toparlanmayı kolaylaştırmada ticari amaçlı spor içecekleri kadar etkin ve glikojenin yeniden sentezi için etkili bir içecek olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca, süt sıcak ortamda egzersiz sırasında oluşan dehidrasyonu gidermede de etkindir. Konu ile ilgili yapılacak daha çok araştırma, sütün egzersiz sonrası toparlanmayı nasıl artırdığını ve fizyolojik mekanizmayı nasıl etkilediğini daha iyi anlamaya yardımcı olacaktır.

MİLK: THE NEW SPORTS DRİNK

Abstract

Milk; is seen as the promising beverage which is on the way of becoming the great alternative recovery beverage after the endurance exercise. Limited number of research results indicates that milk is an effective beverage for re-synthesis of glycogen and effective as commercial sports drinks on increasing the performance and simplifying the recovery. In addition to this,milk is an effective beverage that recovers the dehydration which occurs during the exercise in hot environment. More researches about this topic, helps to better understanding that how milk increase recovery after the exercise and how it affects the physiological mechanisms
