Gentiana olivieri’nin Sağlık Üzerindeki Etkileri

Abstract

Gentiana cinsi, Gentianaceae familyasının en büyük grubunu oluşturan ve tıbbi amaçlarla kullanılan önemli bir bitki topluluğudur. Gentiana familyasının Türkiye’de tıbbi amaçlarla kullanıldığı türler arasında G. olivieri, G. lutea, G. gelida M.Bieb. ve G. cruciata L. bulunmaktadır. Gentiana olivieri, İran-Turan kökenli bir bitki olup Türkiye, İran, Afganistan ve Doğu Asya’ya kadar geniş bir yayılış göstermektedir. Türkiye’de Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Çankırı, Tokat, Kars, Erzurum, Siirt, Şırnak, Hakkari illerimizde yayılış göstermektedir. Türkiye’de Afat otu, Enliklem, Korku otu, Mavi kelebek gibi yerel isimlerle bilinen G. olivieri, Türkiye’de geleneksel tıpta iştah açıcı acı bir tonik olarak kullanılmaktadır. Genellikle geleneksel tıpta iştah açıcı, antidiyabetik, antianemik, antiinflamatuar, ateş düşürücü, sedatif, hepatorotektif, mide ve ruhsal rahatsızlıklar için kullanılmaktadır.

Effects of Gentiana Olivieri on Health

Abstract

The genus Gentiana is the largest group of the Gentianaceae family and is an important plant community used for medicinal purposes. The species of Gentiana family used for medicinal purposes in Turkey include G. olivieri, G. lutea, G. gelida M.Bieb. and G. cruciata L. Gentiana olivieri is an Irano-Turanian plant with a wide distribution in Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and East Asia. In Türkiye, it is distributed in Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Çankırı, Tokat, Kars, Erzurum, Siirt, Şırnak and Hakkari provinces. G. olivieri, known by local names such as Afat grass, Enliklem, Fear grass, Blue butterfly in Türkiye, is used in traditional medicine as a bitter tonic to stimulate appetite. It is generally used in traditional medicine as an appetite stimulant, antidiabetic, antianemic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, sedative, hepatoprotective, gastric and mental disorders.
