Research was conducted to examine the relationship between premenstrual syndrome and perceived stress and night eating syndrome. The study was conducted with 236 midwifery students (with premenstrual syndrome: 102, without premenstrual syndrome: 134). In the study, the incidence of night eating syndrome and the mean scores of the Perceived Stress Scale and Night Eating Questionnaire were higher in the group with premenstrual syndrome than in the group without premenstrual syndrome. In addition, a high level of statistically positive correlation was found between the perceived stress levels in both groups and the mean scores of the Night Eating Questionnaire. In the research, ıt was observed that students with premenstrual syndrome experienced more night eating syndrome and higher perceived stress level than students without premenstrual syndrome. In addition, it was concluded that the severity of Night Eating Syndrome increased in parallel with the increase in the stress level in both groups.
