Abstract
SheepNet (Sharing Expertise and Experience towards sheep Productivity through NETworking - Koyunculukta verimliliğe yönelik uzmanlık ve tecrübelerin ağ oluşturma ile paylaşılması) 6 başlıca koyun üreticisi AB üyesi ülkeler ile Türkiye’nin ortak olduğu ve tüm Avrupa ülkelerindeki paydaşlara ve üreticilere açık olan geniş bir Avrupa ağı projesidir. SheepNet projesi koyunlarda verimliliği iyileştirmek için etkin üreme, etkin gebelik ve kuzu ölümlerinin azaltılması gibi üç temel unsuru yenilikçi pratikler ile ele almaktadır. SheepNet projesi Avrupa çapında koyunlarda verimliliği arttırmak için araştırmacı, çiftçi ve danışmanlar arasında bilimsel ve pratik bilgilerin sağlam bir şekilde değişimini sağlayacaktır. Proje 1 Kasım 2016 tarihinde Avrupa Komisyonu tarafından onaylanarak 727895 hibe numarası (proje numarası) ile desteğe değer görülmüştür. Fransa’nın liderliğinde yürütülen projenin konsorsuyumu İrlanda, Büyük Britanya, Romanya, İspanya, İtalya ve Türkiye’den oluşmaktadır. Proje 36 ay olup 5 iş paketinden oluşmaktadır.
