Abstract
Belirli bir tarihsel dönemin ifadesi olan postmodernizmin, kültür ve sanat alanında olduğu gibi sinema alanında da varlığı tartışma konusu olsa da, toplumsal değişimi ifade etmek için kullanılan pek çok kavramdan biri olduğu aşikardır. Kültür ve sanat ürünlerinde görülen ve postmodernizm olarak ifade edilen kültürel ve estetik eğilim, kendini sinema alanında da görünür kılmış, artık yüksek kültür ile popüler kültür arasındaki ayrımların ortadan kalktığından bahsedilmeye başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı birkaç film özelinde, sinema da postmodernizmin göstergelerini inceleyerek, postmodernizmin sinemada varlığını sorgulamak olacaktır.
Abstract
Postmodernism as an expression of a historical period became a critical subject both in the field of
culture/art and cinema. However it has been one of the terms to express the social change. Postmodernism as a
cultural and aesthetic trend which is visible in the cultural and artistic products became visible in cinema as well
and from now on it was mention that the borders between high and popular culture was disappeared. The
purpose of this study is, specifically through the help of a few films, to investigate the images of postmodernism
and questionize the presence of postmodernism in the field of cinema.
