Abstract

Fotini Vaki's Neoliberalism, Democracy, and Rights: Towards a Critique of Neoliberal Reason critically examines the impact of neoliberalism on human rights, democracy, and social structures. Drawing on the concepts of thinkers such as Hannah Arendt, Michel Foucault, and Immanuel Kant, the author argues that neoliberalism reduces individuals to economic "entrepreneurial" identities and undermines social solidarity. The book emphasizes that neoliberal policies not only create economic inequalities but also lead to the erosion of rights and democracy. This work provides an in-depth analysis for readers seeking to understand the effects of neoliberalism on societies while serving as a call to critique this system and consider alternatives.

Abstract

Fotini Vaki’nin Neoliberalism, Democracy, and Rights: Towards a Critique of Neoliberal Reason adlı eseri, neoliberalizmin insan hakları, demokrasi ve toplumsal yapı üzerindeki etkilerini eleştirel bir yaklaşımla inceliyor.
