Abstract

Determination Of The Level Of Coal and Productivity in a Coal Field With Well Logging Method

This study uses geophysical well logs (density logs and natural gamma ray logs) in a coal field to determine coal seam roof and floor depth (limits) and to evaluate coal reserves in the field.  To determine the calorific value of the coal, changes in ash content (indicated by density), volatile matter content, moisture content and fixed carbon content are recorded. The potential of the reserve as an energy source for power plant facilities is discussed in terms of efficiency. Therefore it is important to have a realistic evaluation of the thickness of the coal seam and the quality of the coal across the area. The accuracy of the evaluations is dependent upon the density, or spacing, of the test wells, and a grid-based method was used to optimize spacing of the wells.

Bir Kömür Sahasında Kömür Seviyesinin ve Verimliliğin Kuyu Logu Metodu Kullanılarak Belirlenmesi

Bu çalışmada, jeofizik kuyu log’ları (formasyon density (yoğunluk) logu ve doğal gamma ray logu) kullanılarak tipik bir kömür sahasında, kömür damarının tavan ve taban derinlikleri (sınırları) ve buna bağlı olarak sahadaki kömür rezerv tespiti, ve yoğunluğa bağlı olarak değişen kömürün karakteristik özelliklerinden kül oranı, uçucu madde miktarı, nem oranı, sabit karbon oranı ve alt ısıl değerlerinin belirlenmesine yönelik sahada alınan kuyu log’larının (density logu ve gamma ray logu) değerlendirmeleri yapılmış ve sahanın enerji hammaddesi olarak işletilmesine yönelik olası bir enerji (termik) santral tesisi ve işletmeciliği açısından verimliliği irdelenmiştir. Bu nedenle her kuyuda kesilen kömür seviyelerinin her birinin kalınlıkları, damarın kuyu lokasyonundaki gerçek yoğunluğunun belirlenmiş olması, sahanın kömür kalitesi ve rezerv hesabının gerçeğe yakın değer vermesi bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Elde edilen verilerden toplam kömür hacmi 101.070.000 (m³) , toplam tonaj ise 155.914.200 olarak hesaplanmıştır. 250 MW’lık bir santral kurabilmek için saatte 100 ton kömür üretimi yapılmalıdır.
