CDEJ has a strict plagiarism policy to ensure academic integrity and support original research. Thorough reviews are conducted at every stage of our publication process to protect the originality of submitted work.
Plagiarism Detection Process:
- Every article submitted to our journal is subject to a similarity check by the editorial board via inhenticate.com.
- The similarity rate must be at most 25%, excluding the references. Articles with a similarity rate above 25% are returned to the author without being peer-reviewed.
- The maximum citation rate from a single source is set at 3%.
- Even if the total similarity rate is low, if there are significant block quotes in any part of the article, the article is returned to the author.
- Editors check the similarity rate at the beginning and end of the peer-review process.
Author Responsibilities:
- It is the authors' responsibility to verify the originality of submitted articles.
- If necessary, the editorial team may request a plagiarism detection software report from authors.
- Authors are responsible for accurately citing all sources they use in their work.
Sanctions:
- Articles detected to be plagiarised are removed from the publication process.
- In case of repeated violations, authors may not submit articles to our journal for a certain period of time.
- Serious cases of plagiarism may be reported to the institution to which the author is affiliated and to relevant academic institutions.
- Our journal meticulously implements this policy to ensure the reliability of academic studies.
