SUBMITTING AND EVALUATION OF MANUSCRIPTS

1. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been published in another journal or sent for publication. However, the papers presented in any scientific meeting and not published can be sent to our journal provided that the name, place and date of the meeting are specified.

2. Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the "Journal of Children's Literature and Education Writing Template".

3. All processes related to the manuscripts sent to the journal are operated electronically by using the substructure of the DergiPark system.

4. The manuscripts sent to the journal are checked for compliance with the journal writing template at the pre-control stage. Manuscripts that do not comply with the writing template are rejected.

5. The manuscript that conforms to the writing template is sent to the editor-in-chief of the journal, and the manuscript reviewed in accordance with the journal's publication policy is sent to the relevant field editor or rejected.

6. The manuscript, which passes the evaluation of the field editor, taking into account the criteria of purpose, content, topicality and publication policy of the journal, is sent to at least two reviewers related to the field for review.

7. The refviewers evaluate the manuscript according to the "Reviewer Evaluation Form".

8. If the reviewers to whom the manuscript is sent give a positive or negative opinion with a common opinion, the manuscript is placed in the publication queue or rejected with the approval of the field editor. In the event that the reviewers give different opinions, the manuscript is sent to a third reviewer, and according to the opinion of the third reviewer and the field editor, it is placed in the order of publication or rejected. In cases where the reviewers have different opinions, the field editor has the authority to put the manuscript in the order of publication or reject it without sending it to a third reviewer.

9. According to the reports from the reviewers, it is decided to put the manuscript in the same order of publication, to be put in the order of publication after the corrections specified in the report, to be re-evaluated by the reviewers after the corrections specified in the report, or not to be published (rejected). This decision, made according to the reviewer reports, is notified to the author or authors as soon as possible.

10. In case the reviewers give their opinion on the correction, the author(s) are requested to complete the necessary corrections within one month at the latest and upload them to the system. If the corrections are not made within the relevant period, the field editor returns the manuscript to its author.

11. The Journal of Child, Literature and Language Education holds the publishing rights of the manuscripts accepted for publication. The opinions and scientific responsibilities in the manuscripts belong to the author(s) and "Journal of Children, Literature and Language" cannot be held responsible.

12. No copyright is paid to the author(s) for the works deemed suitable for publication.

13. The editor-in-chief of the journal ultimately decides whether to publish an manuscript.
