We investigate Ore extensions zip and reversible rings. Let a be an endomorphism and 5 an a-derivation of a ring R. Assume that R is an a-rigid ring. Then (1) R is a right zip ring if and only if the Ore extension R[x;a, <5) is a right zip ring. (2) R is a reversible ring if and only if the Ore extension R[a:; a, 5] is a reversible ring.
