COVID-19 PANDEMİSİNDE ÇOCUK VE AİLELERE YÖNELİK YAPILAN MAKALELERİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

COVID-19, küresel salgını çocuk ve aileleri derinden etkilemiştir. Pandemi döneminde aile ve çocuklara yönelik yapılan araştırmaların toplu halde ele alınması, incelenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi bir gerekliliktir. Bu gereklilikten hareketle araştırmada COVID-19 pandemisinde çocuk ve ailelere yönelik yapılan araştırmaların bir arada ele alınarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nitel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı araştırmada Mayıs 2020- Nisan 2021 tarihleri arasında yayınlanan makaleler doküman analiz tekniği ile incelenmiştir. Araştırmada çocuk ve ailelere yönelik belirtilen tarihlerde 1900 çalışmaya rastlanmıştır. Bu çalışmalardan editöre mektup olanlar, tam metnine ulaşılamayanlar ve 0-18 yaş çocuk ve aileleriyle çalışılmayan yayınlar kapsam dışı bırakılmış bu yayınlardan sonra kalan 200 yayınla araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada makalelerin en fazla derleme türünde olduğu, en fazla doküman analiz tekniğinin kullanıldığı, ilköğretim dönemindeki çocuklarla çalışıldığı, 2020 yılında yapıldığı, en fazla iki yazarla çalışıldığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmalarda en fazla oranda amaçlanan, COVID-19 pandemisinin çocuk ve aileler üzerindeki etkileri olduğu, sonuç olarak da bu etkilerin olumsuz yönde gerçekleştiği belirlenmiştir. Yazarlar en fazla oranda çocuk ve ailelerinin desteklenmesi gerektiğine yönelik öneri sunmuşlardır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara dayanarak çalışmanın farklı desenlerde, farklı örneklem gruplarıyla yapılması, pandeminin etkisini azaltmak için toplumda yer alan profesyonellerin işbirliği içinde çalışması önerilebilir.

INVESTIGATION OF ARTICLES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN THE COVID- 19 PANDEMIC

Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic has deeply affected children and their families. It is a necessity to collectively address, examine and evaluate the researches on families and children during the pandemic period. Based on this necessity, it is aimed to examine the researches made for children and families in the COVID-19 pandemic by considering them together. In the study, in which the qualitative research method was used, the articles published between May 2020 and April 2021 were examined with the document analysis technique. In the research, 1900 studies were found on children and families on the specified dates. Among these studies, those with letters to the editor, those whose full text could not be reached, and those that were not studied with children aged 0-18 and their families were excluded from the scope, and research was carried out with the remaining 200 publications after these publications. In the research, it was determined that the articles were mostly in the compilation type, the document analysis technique was used the most, they were studied with children in the primary school period, and they were studied with at most two authors in 2020. It has been determined that the most aimed in the researches effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on children and families, and as a result, these effects occur in a negative way. The authors suggested that children and their families should be supported at the highest rate. Based on the findings obtained from the research, it can be suggested that the studies be carried out in different designs, with different sample groups, and that professionals in the society in cooperation to reduce the impact of the pandemic.
