Porselen Lamina Venerlerde Kırılma Dayanımı

Abstract

Günümüz diş hekimliğinde, estetik kaybı olan anterior dişlerde uygulanan,
güncel, konservatif bir tedavi seçeneği olarak lamina veneer restorasyonlar
oldukça geniş kullanım oranlarına ulaşmıştır. Dental seramiklerde süregelen
gelişmeler, klinisyene yüksek estetik ve fonksiyonel özelliklere sahip
porselen veneer restorasyon yapma imkanı sağlamıştır. Uygulanan bu tür
restorasyonların fonksiyonel yükler karşısında gösterdikleri direnç restorasyonun
başarısını doğrudan etkileyen bir faktördür. Literatürde lamina veneer
restorasyonların kırılma dayanıklıklarının incelendiği in vitro ve in vivo
pek çok çalışma mevcuttur.

Fracture Resistance of Porcelain Laminate Veneers

Abstract

In recent dentistry, laminate veneers have gained widespread utilization

as a conservative treatment option of unaesthetic anterior teeth. The continued

development of dental ceramics offers clinicians many options for

creating highly aesthetic and functional porcelain veneers. The behavior of

these restorations against the functional loads plays an important role in

their success. Many studies have evaluated the fracture resistance of laminate

veneers in vitro and in vivo.
