Abstract

Antik Mysia Bölgesi sınırları içersinde kalan Allianoi, günümüzde İzmir İli Bergama İlçesi’ne bağlı, Bergama-İvrindi karayolunun 18. km’sinde, Bergama’nın kuzeydoğusunda, Yortanlı Barajı gölet alanının ortasında, Paşa Ilıcası Mevkii’nde yer almaktadır. Roma Dönemine ait yapı ve hamam kalıntılarından sıcak suyla tedavinin yapıldığı bir sağlık kompleksi olduğu anlaşılan Allianoi, 2011 yılında Yortanlı Barajı suları altında kalmıştır.

Coins from Allianoi Excavations: Campaign of 1998

Abstract

Allianoi is an ancient site located at Paşa Ilıcası, about 20 km northeast of Bergama Pergamum , at the heart of Yortanlı Dam Yaraş 2001:105-118; Yaraş 2004:71-74;Yaraş 2005: 196-199 . The remains of a Roman bath complex suggested that in antiquity there was a health centre where thermal therapeutical methods were implemented. Unfortunately, Allianoi was flooded under the waters of Yortanlı Dam in 2011.
