Abstract

Dimolecular reduction of nitrophenols in basic media have been investigated, m- and p-azoxyphenols are obtained in this way. It has been shown that some .reducing agents able to produce aminophenols in basic conditions. Cupric, cobaltous and nickel salts of p-azoxyphenol have been made and their propertied. studied
