The Synthesis Of 1,6- Anhydro- 2, 3, 4- Tri-o- Benzyl- P-D- Galactopyranose

Abstract

1,6- anhydro-2, 3, 4- tri -0- benzyl-Ş-D-galactopyranose was synthesized by benyz- lation of 1, 6- anhydro-p-D- galactropyranose triacetate as an oil. In order to synthesize them, p-D- galactopyranose pentaacetate and phenyl p-D-galactopyranoside tetraacetate have been obtained.
