SYNTHESIS OF NEW DERIVATIVES OF 4-ACETYLSULPHANILO- HYDRAZIDE AND THEIR BACTARICIDIAL AND FUNGICIDIAL PROPERTIES

Abstract

In a search for new bacterıcides and fungicides the following derivatives of sulphanilohyd- razide have been prepared: Hydrazones from aromatic aldehydes and ketones; N’-aryl carbonyl derivatives; N’arylsulphonyl derivatives. In addition to various sulphones containing heterocyc- lic ring. Their antifungal and antibacterial activity has been evaluated, where compounds (Ic), (IHg), (IHg), IVc), (Va) and (Vlb) were found to be the most effective ones.
