CONDENSATION OF 2 - SUBSTİTUTED - 3(H) - OXONAPHTHO (2, 1 ■ b) PYRAN WITH KETONES IN THE PRESENCE OF AMMONİUM ACETATE OR AMINES

Abstract

Several 5 - substituted naphtho (2, 1 - g) 1,3 - oxazocines (ila - k), 11 - substituted hexa- hydro • 4a, 9 - alkyliminoethano - 4aH - 7, 8 - benzoxanthenes (İlla - c) and 5,6 - benzo - 2 - methylimino - 2,3 - trimethylenechroman - 4a - carboxyacetic acid lactam (IV) have been prepared by Michael condensation of 2 - substituted - 3(H) - oxonaphtho (2, 1 - b) pyran (la - c) with ketones in the presence of nitrogenous base at room temperature. Preparation of 10 - subs* tituted octahydronaphtho (2,1 - b) pyrano (3,4 - c) quinoline - 8H, 9 • diones (Va-c) was abo described.
