In, this article, a new method for N- -hydroxyethylation of aromatic amines has been described. Aniline, N-niethylaniline and N-ethylaniline were convefted to their halomagnesium salts with a proper Grignard reagent, then this salts reacted with ethy- lene oxide and so formed complexes hydrolyzed with aqueous ammonium chloride.
