Abstract
The aim of the present work was to study the Gerede -Aktaş forest from the phytosocio logical and phytoecological points of view. The area is situated in the boundaries of Bolu provin- ce in the west Black Sea region which is under the influence of a semi-continental climate. Four sylvatic plant associations were described in the area mainly consisted of volcanic (Andesite) massive.
