Abstract
he Boyabat (Sinop) basin is one of the important sedimantery zone in oil exploration in the Pontide belt. Presence of source, reservoir rock. seals, oil and gas show at Ekinveren, üzümlü and Uzunöz localities makes the investigated area an important oil exploration target.
