Almanya’yı Temizliyorum”: Almanya’da Göçmen, Kadın ve Temizlikçi Olmak

Abstract

Bu çalışmann amacı, Almanya işgücü piyasasında kuralsızlaşmanın, Türkiye’den göç eden kadın işçiler üzerindeki etkilerini tartışmaya açmaktır. Bu çerçevede, Almanya’da temizlik sektöründe çalışan 25 göçmen kadın ve temizlik sektöründe örgütlü sendikaların temsilcileriyle gerçekleştirilen nitel araştırmanın sonuçları değerlendirilecektir. Araştırma sonuçları, Almanya işgücü piyasasında esnekleşmenin temizlik sektöründe çalışan göçmen kadınlar üzerinde yoğun bir sömürüye yol açtığını göstermektedir. Araştırma sonuçlarının analizinde, işgücü piyasasından kaynaklanan etkilerin yanı sıra, cinsiyete ve etnisiteye dayalı ayrımcılık da göz önünde bulundurulmuştur

Abstract

The aim of this article is to discuss the effects of deregulation of German labour market on the working conditions of Turkish migrant women. Within this framework, results of a qualitative study conducted in Germany will be evaluated. The results of in-depth interviews conducted with Turkish migrants and trade union representatives, displays the effects, which the flexibilisation of the labour market in Germany has had on the exploitation of the female migrant janitorial workforce. Through an intersectional analysis of interiews, besides the effects of deregulation in the labour market, the effects of gender and ethnicity based discrimination are considered
