In this study, the impact of the changes felt during the process of Turkey’s integration with World Economy on the labour market is examined. The general conclusion that will be drawn from labour, employment, unemployment and main labour indicators is that the increase of productivity and efficiency do not reflect real incomes, that the main characteristics of labour market have similarities with underdeveloped parts of the world and that the structural transformation of labour market is incomplete
