Sendikal Liderlik Tarzlarının Üyelerin Sendikaya Karşı Tutumları Üzerindeki Etkisi: Kamu Kurumlarında Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Üyelerin sendikaya karşı tutumlarının sendika-üye etkileşimi bağlamında değerlendirilmesi gerektiğine ve bu kapsamda olumlu tutumların geliştirilebileceğine dair fikir birçok uygulamalı çalışmayla desteklenmektedir. Sendika-üye etkileşiminde ise üyelerin doğrudan ve neredeyse her gün görüşebildiği, istek ve şikayetlerini bildirebildiği işyeri sendika temsilcisi önemli bir role sahiptir. Bu çalışmanın amacı işyeri sendika temsilcilerinin sergilediği liderlik tarzlarının ve üyelerin bu tarzlardan duyduğu memnuniyetin üyelerin sendikal bağlılık ve sendikal memnuniyet düzeyi üzerindeki etkisini araştırmaktır. Bu kapsamda Erzurum ilinde hizmet veren kamu hastanelerinde çalışan sendika üyesi 285 idari personelden anket uygulanarak veri elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 programında korelasyon ve çoklu regresyon analizi ile incelenmiştir. Ulaşılan sonuçlara göre, işyeri sendika temsilcilerinin sergilediği liderlik tarzları ile üyelerin sendikal bağlılık ve sendikal memnuniyet düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra işyeri sendika temsilcilerinin sergilediği liderlik davranışlarının üyelerin sendikal memnuniyet düzeylerindeki değişimin %73’ünü, sendikal bağlılık düzeylerindeki değişimin ise yaklaşık %30’luk bir kısmını açıkladığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır

In terms of union-member relation, the workplace union representative, with whom the members can meet directly and almost every day, and report their requests and complaints, has an important role. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of leadership behavior styles exhibited by union managers and the satisfaction of members with these behaviors on the level of union commitment and union satisfaction. In this context, data were obtained from 285 administrative staff working in public hospitals serving in Erzurum province by applying a questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by correlation and multiple regression analysis in SPSS 22 program. According to the results, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the leadership styles exhibited by the workplace union representatives and the union commitment and union satisfaction levels of the members. In addition, it was concluded that the leadership behaviors exhibited by the workplace union representatives explained 73% of the change in the union satisfaction levels of the members and approximately 30% of the change in the union commitment levels
