Online eğitimin göz sağlığına olan etkisi

Year 2021, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 1 - 4, 30.06.2021

Abstract

The effect of online education on eye health

Year 2021, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 1 - 4, 30.06.2021

Abstract

Purpose: Our aim in this study; is to examine visual disorders in people who get an online education in the pandemic process, to determine which visual disorders have come up more, to determine the relationship between daily online lesson hours and visual disorders. Finally, we aim to create resources to scientific literatures and service servers.
Materials and Methods: This study is a descriptive study and it includes between September 2020- May 2021. The universe of the study consists of the 167 students randomly selected from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine who took online education and filled out our questionnaire through Google Forms between May 13 – May 20 2021. In the questionnaire form we distributed in our study; age, gender, class, average daily online course duration in the last eight months, regular eye control status, previous use of glasses, whether there was a new eye problem in the last eight months, if there was a new eye problem, its severity, type, when it started; after the new complaints, the status of applying to the doctor and his diagnosis were questioned..
Conclusion: This study, which we will do to determine the effects of the average daily online training time on eye health; will be useful in terms of showing that human health and education come first by providing a resource for both the literature and the relevant authorities for the regulation of online training periods.
