Kadınların Doğum Hafızası ile Doğum Sonu Depresyonu Arasındaki İlişkinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, kadınların doğum hafızası ile doğum sonu depresyonu arasındaki ilişkinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma kesitsel tipte tanımlayıcı bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Sivas il sağlığına bağlı iki Aile Sağlığı Merkezi’ne 01 Haziran -15 Temmuz 2022 tarihleri arasında başvuran 150 kadın oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Doğum Hafızası ve Hatırlatma Ölçeği (DHHÖ) ve Edinburgh Doğum Sonu Depresyon Ölçeği (EDSDÖ) kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerinin analizi için SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Kadınların DHHÖ toplam puan ortalaması 78,52±16,93, EDSDÖ ölçek toplam puan ortalamasının 10,52±5,69 olduğu bulunmuştur. DHHÖ alt boyut ölçek puan ortalamaları sırasıyla; Ambivalan Duygusal Hafıza 9,16±3,61, Hafızanın Merkezliliği 18,06±5,75, Tutarlılık ve Tekrar Yaşama 24,05±66,6, Duyusal Hafıza 15,40±6,38 ve İstemsiz Hatırlama 6,80±3,53’tür. Kadınların Duygusal Hafıza, Hafızanın Merkezliliği ve İstemsiz Hatırlama alt boyut değişkenlerinin Edinburg Doğum Sonrası Depresyon Ölçeği üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0.05). Kadınların DHHÖ toplam puan ortalamaları ile EDSDÖ toplam puan ortalamaları arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (r=0,303, p=0,000 p<0.01). Bu doğrultuda; kadınlarda doğum ile ilgili olumlu bir algı oluşturulması ve doğum sonu depresyona yönelik farkındalıklarının artırılması sağlanmalıdır.

Evaluation of The Relationship Between Birth Memory and Postpartum Depression in Woman

Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate the relationship between women's birth memory and postpartum depression. The research is a cross-sectional descriptive study. The population of the study consisted of 150 women who applied to two Family Health Centers affiliated to Sivas provincial health between 01 June -15 July 2022. Data were collected using Personal Information Form, Birth Memory and Reminder Scale (DHSS), and Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale (EDSS). SPSS 22.0 package program was used for the analysis of the data. It was found that the total mean score of the women's DHSS was 78.52±16.93, and the total mean score of the EPDS scale was 10.52±5.69. DHHÖ sub-dimension scale mean scores, respectively; Ambivalent Emotional Memory 9.16±3.61, Centrality of Memory 18.06±5.75, Consistency and Reliability 24.05±66.6, Sensory Memory 15.40±6.38, and Involuntary Recall was found to be 6.80±3.53. It was determined that women's Emotional Memory, Centrality of Memory and Involuntary Recall sub-dimension variables had a significant effect on Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale (p<0.05). A positive and significant correlation was found between the women's total mean scores of DHSS and total mean scores of EPDS (r=0.303, p=0.000 p<0.01). In this direction; Creating a positive perception about childbirth in women and increasing their awareness of postpartum depression should be ensured.
