İslam Şehri Literatürüne Bibliyometrik Bir Bakış: Tematik Yönelimler ve Araştırma Eğilimlerinde Dönüşüm

Öz

Bu araştırma, Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanında 1980–2025 yılları arasında yayımlanan “İslam şehri” temalı bilimsel yayınları bibliyometrik ve kavramsal analiz yöntemleriyle incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, ‘Islamic City’ (İslam şehri), ‘Islamic Urbanism’ (İslam Şehirciliği), ‘Islamic Urban’ (İslami Kent) ve ‘Islam City’ (İslam şehri) anahtar sözcükleri kullanılarak elde edilen 173 bilimsel yayın analiz edilmiştir. Veri türleri arasında makaleler, kitap, kitap bölümleri, bildiri özetleri ve derleme çalışmalar yer almaktadır. Verilerin çözümlemesinde bibliyometrik analiz ve eş-ortaya çıkış (co-occurrence) analizi gibi yöntemler tercih edilmiş; haritalandırmalar VOSviewer yazılımı aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yayınların türleri, yıllara göre dağılımı, disipliner yoğunlukları, coğrafi yayılımları ve anahtar kavram kümelenmeleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları, “İslam şehri” kavramına yönelik akademik ilginin son 10 yılda belirgin biçimde arttığını; kavramsal kümelenmelerin ise daha çok tarihsel-mimari miras, şehir kimliği, mekânsal planlama, morfoloji, yönetişim ve çağdaş dönüşüm temalarında yoğunlaştığı yönündedir. Ayrıca literatürün çoğunlukla İran ve Arap şehirleri etrafında şekillendiği, Türkiye şehirlerinin yeterince temsil edilmediği belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma, İslam şehri tartışmalarının tematik gelişimini ve kavramsal çeşitliliğini ortaya koyarak, alana ilişkin gelecek çalışmalar için yönlendirici bir zemin sunmaktadır.
