Abstract

“Prayer for Rain” has been a practice in almost all Turkish communities by now. It is well known and recognized that there are a common denominations among varies applications for this prayer among distinct Turkish communities. So it is a common phenomenon among these societies. Its various applications have been subject matters of different studies. In our study we carried out it as a case study in Azatlı town, Niğde, in which the original form of prayer for rain has been kept
