Globalization effects the religious life and religious identity as it effects economical political, social and cultural life. Because different religions and cultures can get in touch with each other as a result of mass media tools' becoming widespread. This case has caused the hybridizing and assimilation of cultures. Naturally, religions are also being affected from this process since they live within the cultures. This effect has put forward the identity problem. In this study how and in which way the effect of globalization on religious life and religious identities come into being is discussed with a social psychological approach
