In this article the experience of Andalus has been examined, in terms of “violence” which is relatively suited for an objective and descriptive expression. When doing this, first of all it has been tried to find the answer of how and what kind of violence in Andalus has been used in the disagreements and conflicts taken place between central administaiton and opposite groups, between two opposite groups, or between the central administration and free non-Muslim subjects (dhimmî). Besides, the struggles between the Muslim rulers in Andalus and the Christian kings in the North have been also examined with respect of the same question, and the reason and method of Christian Spain in its applying to violence within itself in its relations with the Muslim and Jewish communities who were the human heritage of Andalus have been dealt with
