The purpose of this article is to discuss the issue of the position and salvation of woman in Christianity. Throughout the history of Christianity, women have always been of secondary importance. According to Christian beliefs, woman was created from a rib of man and for exclusives need of the man. In a sense, women are seen as slaves of men. In fact, according to St. Paul: “man is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man” (1 Corinths 11:7). Salvation of woman, is expressed commitment to man and her individual identity is considered unimportant. Firstly woman’s perception of St. Paul and then perceptions of Augustine, Tertullian, Aquinas, Luther and Calvin, important headstones of Christian history, have been discussed in this article. In addition, the question “Are women redeemed by Christ?” has been asked and has been looked for an answer for this question throughout the history of Christianity
