Din eğitimi, din eğitiminin amaçları, içeriği, müfredattaki yerine ilişkin birbirine benzer problem ve sorunlar var mıdır? Din eğitimi imajı öğrencilerin algısında neye benzer? Din eğitimi öğretmenleri birbirlerini nasıl anlarlar? Bu ciltteki özel ulusal bağlamda yazılmış olunan her bir makale, bu sorunları ve din eğitimi ile ilgili öteki meseleleri ele almaktadır. Bu giriş bölümü, Avrupa’daki din eğitiminin statüsünün genel bir değerlendirmesini yapmaktadır
