ELEKTRONİK SÖZLÜK TİPOLOJİSİNDE BOŞLUK VE ‘KAMUSİ GOLD’ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Teknolojinin gelişmesiyle ihtiyaçlarla birlikte alışkanlıklar
da değişmektedir. Sözlükçülük de bundan nasibini almıştır.
Eski dönemlerde neredeyse bir insan ömrünün eseri olan cilt
cilt sözlükler yerini, şimdilerde bir ekip çalışmasının sürekli
yenilenen ve geliştirilen elektronik sözlüklerine bırakmaya
başlamıştır. 1980’li yıllarda bilgisayarın yaygınlaşmasıyla
elektronik sözlükler hayatımıza girmeye başlamıştır.
Önceleri çevrim dışı (offline) elektronik sözlüklerle
(elektronik cep sözlükleri, CD-romlar, taşınabilir diskler ve
diğerleri) başlayan süreç günümüzde çevrim içi (online)
elektronik sözlüklerle giderek yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu
çalışmada, yenilikçi elektronik sözlüklerden biri olan
“Kamusi GOLD” (küresel çevrim içi güncel sözlük) adlı
çevrim içi sözlüğü ele alacağız. Sözlük hakkında bilgi verip
bu sözlüğün daha önce yapılan elektronik sözlük
tipolojilerinin neresinde yer aldığını ortaya koyacağız

THE GAP IN THE TYPOLOGY OF ELECTRONIC DICTIONARY AND ‘KAMUSI GOLD’ MODEL

Abstract

Habits change with the needs in line with the development
of technology. Lexicography is affected by this. In ancient
times volume type of dictionaries which last almost as much
as a human life span replace with the electronic dictionaries
which are renewed and developed by a teamwork. In 1980s
electronic dictionaries entered our life with computer’s
becoming widespread. The process which was started
before with the offline dictionaries (electronic pocket
dictionaries, CD-roms, portable disks etc.) is becoming
popular with the online dictionaries today. We are going to
inform you about the electronic dictionary “Kamusi” (The
Global Online Living Dictionary) and determine where this
dictionary locates in the typology of dictionary which was
studied before
