All manuscripts submitted to DAHUDER Medical Journal undergo a comprehensive, multi-stage evaluation process to ensure scientific rigor, originality, ethical compliance, and publishability. The entire process is managed through our
online submission system; submissions sent via email will not be considered.
Initial Screening and Plagiarism Check
The editorial office first assesses the submission for compliance with the journal's scope, formatting, and stylistic guidelines.
To uphold academic integrity, all manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. The overall similarity index must be below 30% (excluding the bibliography), and the similarity from any single source must not exceed 3%. Manuscripts exceeding these thresholds may be rejected or returned to the authors for revision. This initial screening is completed within a maximum of 15 days.
Ethical and Reporting Standards Check
As a medical journal, studies involving human or animal subjects must include a statement regarding ethical approval from an institutional review board and informed consent, as applicable.
Editorial Assessment
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to a handling editor, who evaluates their scientific significance, methodological soundness, clarity of language, and overall suitability for the journal. This assessment is completed within 5 days. The editor may decide to send the manuscript for peer review, request preliminary revisions, or reject it if it fails to meet the journal's standards.
Peer-Review Process (Double-Blind)
DAHUDER Medical Journal employs a double-blind peer-review system to ensure impartiality. Under this model, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed from each other. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent, external experts in the relevant field. Reviewers provide structured feedback using the journal's evaluation form, and all reports are securely archived within the submission system.
Author Revisions
Based on the reviewers' comments, authors may be invited to revise their manuscripts. Authors are expected to address all feedback in a point-by-point response letter and submit a revised version of the manuscript. In cases of disagreement, authors retain the right to appeal with a justified explanation.
Language and Technical Editing
Manuscripts accepted in principle undergo a thorough review by the journal's language editors for grammar, clarity, and technical consistency. Authors may be requested to make necessary improvements to meet the journal's publication standards. This stage is completed within 7 days.
Editorial Board Review
Articles that successfully pass all previous stages are presented to the Editorial Board for a final publication decision. The board evaluates the manuscript's adherence to journal policies, scientific validity, and overall quality. Any objections are resolved by a majority vote.
Data Availability
The journal encourages transparency and supports data sharing. Authors may be requested to make the data underlying their findings available, either within the article or through a public data repository.
Typesetting and Publication
Manuscripts accepted for publication are professionally typeset and proofread. The final version is then scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue. All correspondence, manuscript versions, and reviewer comments are permanently archived in the journal's system for record-keeping and transparency.
The rigorous and transparent evaluation process adopted by DAHUDER Medical Journal ensures that every published article contributes trustworthy and high-quality knowledge to the medical and scientific community.
