Abstract

Plotinos, düşünce tarihinde önemli bir yer tutan Antik Çağ Yunan filozofudur. Geliştirmiş olduğu öğreti ile düşünce dünyasına yön vermeyi başarmıştır. Filozofun düşünce dünyasına olan etkisi, bilhassa Batı’da yeni çalışmaları doğurmuştur. Bu çalışmada, söz konusu ilginin bir ürünü olan Émile Bréhier’ın “Plotinos’un Felsefesi” isimli eseri incelenmektedir. Bu eser, Plotinos’un öğretisini açıklamakla birlikte filozofun öğretisinin kökenlerine dair yeni bir perspektif sunmaktadır. Bu nedenle tanıtımını yaptığımız kitap, Plotinos’un felsefesine ilgi duyanların faydalanacağı bir eserdir.

Émile Bréhier. The Philosophy of Plotinus

Abstract

Plotinus is an ancient Greek philosopher who holds an important place in the history of thought. He has succeeded in shaping the world of thought with the doctrine he has developed. The influence of the philosopher on the world of thought has given rise to new studies, especially in the West. In this study, Émile Bréhier’s “The Philosophy of Plotinus”, which is a product of this interest, is examined. The work explains Plotinus’ teaching and offers a new perspective on the origins of the philosopher’s teaching. Therefore, the book that we studied is a beneficial source for people who are interested in the philosophy of Plotinus.
