Abstract

Akıllı tasarım 20. yüzyılda M. Behe'nin indirgenemez karmaşıklık kavramı uyarınca, doğadaki çeşitli biyolojik sistemlerin süreç içinde evrimleşmeye müsait bir yapı sergilemediği hipotezi üzerinden kendisini temellendiren bir kuramdır. İlgili kuramın kendisini bilimsel bir söylem üzerinden temellendirme çabası günümüzde çeşitli açılardan eleştiri konusu yapılmaktadır. Bu kitap, tarihsel bir bağlam üzerinden bu tür eleştirilerin temellerini serimleme gayesi gütmektedir.

Abstract

Intelligent Design is a theory that emerged in the 20th century, based on Michael Behe's concept of irreducible complexity, hypothesizing that various biological systems in nature do not exhibit a structure suitable for evolution over time. The attempt of this theory to establish itself through a scientific discourse is lately under criticism from various perspectives. This book aims to lay the foundations of such critiques within a historical context.
