Abstract
This investigation was carried out to determine of effect of ethrel and auxin on adventitious root formation of walnut hardwood cuttings. The cuttings were taken from of 1 year old shoots 3-4 year old seedlings. In December 1996, the cuttings treated with different 4 dose of IBA and ethrel as together and seperately planted in perlite with bottom heat. As a result, it was determined that the treatment of 100ppm ethrel increased formation of callus significantly according to another treatments and control.

Abstract
Ceviz odun çeliklerinde ethrel ve oksin uygulamalarının adventif kök oluşumuna etkisini incelemek amacıyla, 3-4 yaşlarındaki çöğür ağaçlarının 1 yaşlı dalları kullanılmıştır. Aralık 1996 döneminde oksin ve ethrelin ayrı ayrı ve birlikte (oksin+ ethrel) olmak üzere 4 değişik dozuyla muamele edilen çelikler alt ısıtmalı perlit ortamında köklenmeye alınmışlardır. Sonuç olarak; 100 ppm ethrel uygulamasının kallus oluşumunu şahide ve diğer uygulamalara göre önemli derecede artırdığı tespit edilmiştir.
