Abstract
Although land consolidation studies were started in 1961 in our country success of the studies were
not enough. The reason of insufficient success was due to the social-ekonomical structure, population
increase, divided land and legal cause, that were resulted in lack of the periodic implinen tation for the
land consolidation studies. Therefore, in this paper land consolidation necessity was discussed.

Abstract
Ülkemizde arazi toplulaştırma çalışmalarına 1961 yılında başlanmasına rağmen yeterince başarılı
olunamamıştır. Çünkü arazi toplulaştırması çalışmaları arazi bölünmesi, hukuki sebepler, nüfus artışı ve
sosyo-ekonomik yapıdan dolayı periyodik olarak yapılamamıştır. Bu nedenle söz konusu çalışmada arazi
toplulaştırmasının önemi tartışılmıştır.
