Abstract

Akdeniz bölgesi orta enlemlerde doğudan batıya bir kuşak halinde uzanmakta ve kapalı bir denizin çevrelediği
benzer alanlardan oluşmaktadır. En kurak mevsimi yaz olan ve etkin bir fi zyolojik kuraklık periyoduna sahip olan
bu bölge geçmişte olduğu gibi günümüzde de çok geniş çeşitlilikte ekolojik şartlar içerir. Eski çağlardan beri
süregelen insan faaliyetleri sonucu tahrip edilmiş olan Akdeniz bölgesi kökenini Tersiyer fl orasından almakla
birlikte tropik ve tropik dışı türlerin de istilasına uğramıştır.

Abstract

Mediterranean region extends towards west from east as a zone in the middle latitudes and covers similar areas surrounded by a sea, Mediterranean. This region the driest season of which is summer and having a physiological drought period exhibites very large ecological variations today as in the past due to the anthropogenic impacts dated back to ancient eras. The fl ora of Mediterranean area have been originated from Tersier era, as well as along with the igration of the species of tropical and extratropical areas
