Büyük Menderes Nehir Havzası’ndaki Egzotik Balık Türleri ve Etkileri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Büyük Menderes Nehir havzasına giriş yapmış olan 8 egzotik balık türü tespit edilmiştir: Carassius gibelio, Ctenopharyngodon idella, Gambusia affi nis, Lepomis gibbosus, Morone chrysops & Morone saxatilis, Oncorhynchus mykiss, Pseudorasbora parva. Bunlardan iki tür biyolojik mücadele, üç tür yetiştiricilik ve üç türde havzaya tesadüfi girmişlerdir. Türkiye’deki yerli ve endemik balık türleri açısından zengin olan havzada, son yıllarda populasyon oluşturmuş olan Lepomis gibbosus, Carassius gibelio ve Pseudorasbora parva türlerinin negatif etkileri görülmeye başlanmıştır

Non-native Fish species and Effect on the Büyük Menderes River Basin

Abstract

In this study, 8 non-native fi sh species have been introduced into the Büyük Menderes River Basin: Carassius gibelio, Ctenopharyngodon idella, Gambusia affi nis, Lepomis gibbosus, Morone chrysops & Morone saxatilis, Oncorhynchus mykiss, Pseudorasbora parva. Among these species, 2 are for the biological control, 3 are for the aquaculture, and 3 are accidental introduction into the basin. The basin has richness number of native and endemic fi sh species in the Turkey. In recent years, 3 non-native fi sh species established in the basin, Lepomis gibbosus, Carassius gibelio and Pseudorasbora parva appear to have a negative impact on native and endemic fi sh fauna
